Calvin and Hobbes

One of my all time favorite comic strips ever is Calvin and Hobbes. Not only do the books make the best bathroom reading, this site has what appears to be a considerable portion of the entire Calvin and Hobbes collection. To make it even cooler and more useful, not only does it have a shit load of strips, it is searchable.

Darwin Awards

The film is pretty good, but I'm talking about the real thing here. You know, the annual award that actually matters: people who kill themselves off in incredibly stupid ways. The 2007 winners were found naked in the middle of a road. After an intensive investigation they determined the couple had fallen off the roof of a nearby building during sex. Another one is about a guy who broke into a bear cage at zoo to share his beers with a bear. There's a ton more to read and laugh about. We can all honor these idiots for helping along Darwin's most famous idea: natural selection. I fear, however, that there are plenty more people like this who just happen to be getting away with it.
