One of my all time favorite comic strips ever is Calvin and Hobbes. Not only do the books make the best bathroom reading, this site has what appears to be a considerable portion of the entire Calvin and Hobbes collection. To make it even cooler and more useful, not only does it have a shit load of strips, it is searchable.[edit: the comic strip above gets cut off here. weak.]

Ahhhh yes... sweet memories.
I grew up on those books.
I have a cousin who can recite every panel EVER... the words, what is going on in them, and the faces Calvin makes...all you need to do is read him the first bubble or describe the first panel.
He's pretty awesome.
